Rafael Raimond is a freestyle wrestler from Dagestan – one of the world’s strongest wrestling traditions. With years of international experience, Rafael has dedicated his life to the sport, both as a competitor and a coach.

After three years in Vietnam, Rafael now calls this country his home. His mission is clear: to build a strong foundation for wrestling in Vietnam, from the Olympic level to mixed martial arts. He believes that with the right training, structure, and mindset, Vietnamese athletes have the talent to become Asian champions, world champions, and even Olympic medalists.

For Rafael, wrestling is more than just a sport – it is the foundation of all combat disciplines and a path to discipline, strength, and character. Through his teaching, he is committed to nurturing the next generation of athletes, giving young people the opportunity to unlock their potential and bring Vietnam onto the global stage.
